Sunday Hotel Willingen

The Sunday Hotel Willingen is located in Usseln, a village about 5 km from the centre of Willingen. The 102-room hotel was called H+ Hotel Willingen until 2026 and has traded under the Sunday Hotels brand since the change of operator in July 2026. Use of the indoor pool, sauna and hammam is included in the room rate.

Spa and wellness

The centrepiece is the year-round indoor pool. It is joined by a sauna and a hammam (an oriental steam bath with heated stone benches). The area is functional rather than fancy: solid basics instead of a large sauna landscape, but with no surcharge. The Willingen tourist information office describes the facilities; current room offers are available from the operator OYO.

Good to know

The in-house restaurant serves a breakfast buffet, coffee and cake in the afternoon and a dinner buffet in the evening. Usseln station is about 1 km away and parking at the hotel is free. The centre of Willingen with its shops and après-ski is about 5 km away; in return, Usseln is noticeably quieter. For high-end wellness expectations the offering is deliberately simple, but as a base for an active Sauerland holiday with a daily swim, the concept works well.
