Romantik Hotel Stryckhaus lies in the Stryck valley at the foot of the Ettelsberg, right next to the Mühlenkopfschanze ski jump and the edge of the forest. The long-established hotel has been part of the Göbel group since 2017 and rates itself as a 4-star property. If quiet matters more to you than being in the village centre, this is the stronger location.
Spa and wellness
The 600 m² wellness area offers four themed saunas: a Finnish sauna at 90 °C, a mild bio-thermal sauna at 55 °C, a herbal steam grotto and a salt steam bath. There are also a Kneipp basin (cold-water treading in the tradition of Sebastian Kneipp), an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, so you can swim in the open air even in winter. Massages and beauty treatments are available. The RELAX Guide hotel guide has awarded the house a lily every year since 2007.

Good to know
Prices start at around €170 for a double room, or €85 per person including breakfast. The Mühlenkopfschanze next door is the largest large-hill ski jump in the world, and the village centre is about 2 km away. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10:30 am, dinner from 6 to 8:30 pm. The hotel also runs its own classic car tour packages.
